Sara’s main speciality she prides herself on is vibe curation through music. Her influences come from all corners of her life, from friends and family, to stopping whatever she’d doing to figure out a song playing in public. TWENTYSEVEN takes you on a journey through songs and phases that shaped alexx’s taste in music. This show lives mostly between 1970 and 2010, dabbling in newer tracks here and there. Expect to jump through genres and different eras of music when you’re tuning in!

alexx has spent most of her life with songs playing somewhere in her head, her earbuds, or both. Her taste has no limit, ranging from shoegaze and reggae, to new wave and folk. She’s probably made a playlist for every slight inconvenience and obsession she’s ever had and is excited to let everyone hear about it.

Isaiah has always had a passion for music, comedy, and all things pop culture. In high school, he created his own man-on-the-street segment for the school’s news broadcast, going around campus to interview people on random topics. As a musician, Isaiah listens to all types of music and hopes to introduce others to a wide variety of genres.

I construct playlists based on iconic movie tropes/scenes. For example: the songs that would play as a man runs through an airport to get the girl, or what music would play during a training montage.

Grace Ureta is a returning DJ with Titan Radio. She’s excited to highlight more soundtrack worthy music this semester in her show Diegetic Sound. Lately, she’s been loving the soundtrack for the film, Obsession.

I want to foster a place of discovery and curiosity for my listeners. Beyond introducing my listeners to new music and playing classics they know and love, I want to create a warm, open environment they are excited to return to every week. My genre tends to lean more towards indie and alternative, but I love to think out of the box and include surprises here and there.
