I would describe the show to be something that always goes with the flow. It’s a cloudy gloomy day in Fullerton? Oh okay we’re listening to Mazzy Star while reporting the weather and sharing our favorite rainy day stories. Last month of school, MGMT is on and we’re counting the last days til it’s summer. I want the show to go with the vibe of things, but I want it to feel open to people, like this is something they can relate to or hear and be like, “ooo I just got put on”, or “this song perfectly describes how I’m feeling right now”. I think it’d be really cool to have the show collaborate with others where we could recommend things to each other and review, as well as hear what other students on campus think! Every session will be different, as the DJ I’ll feel out the vibe and share some great music and energy with the audience <3

Kat is someone who’s always open to everything, whether that be new adventures, new food, movies, music and so much more. She loves to express herself through music and different types of media, like games, making her own videos, or curating personal playlists on Spotify. Kat brings an authentic touch and exciting attitude when collaborating with others as well as creating energy in the room that connects individuals together! Having a love for sharing music and interacting with other friends, Kat would be a fun dj that immerses you into a set like a daydreaming experience. 🙂

The show "Sing About Me," is inspired by Kendrick Lamar's "Sing About Me, I'm Dying of Thirst", a song that originally exposed DJ Ant to Lamar and thematically deep music as a whole. The show will follow DJ Ant as he explores new songs, shares his favorites, and occasionally shares his perspective on the thematic elements and stories portrayed in the songs.

DJ Ant is an avid music listener, reaching 100,000+ minutes across countless genres, but mostly Hip-Hop, R&B, and Trap. His favorite part of music is not the sonic elements of music, but the artistic vision and thematic elements the artist attempts to portray to the audience. DJ Ant loves diving into brand new discographies and will always give a new song a listen, feeling that everybody’s favorite music is out there, the audience just needs to explore enough to find it.

Our show is a unique experience for listeners as we will be having a live DJ set. We will be creating a space for people to listen and dance along with us. Aside from just listening to great mixes we will also be having conversations about our social lives with special guests and friends.

They seamlessly mix songs by adding hand-picked tracks to the queue, creating the ideal atmosphere for the event. While guests often compliment their taste and ask for the playlist name, it’s a special mix crafted just for that event.

Sunday 8PM -9PM
Very much chatting it up with that friend that you see once every 4 months, but when you hang out, it's like nothing has changed and there is no awkwardness. There is a wide variety of music genres/special guests that make this show exciting and new (consistency doesn't exist here).
