July 8, 2025 at Levi’s Stadium, The Weeknd’s After Hours Til Dawn Tour is my favorite concert I have ever been to, and I have been to quite a few concerts. Luckily I didn’t have to fight in the Ticket Master war but shouted out to my cousin that had to fight for tickets. I loved the concert not only because of the music but also because of the people I went with. Going to concerts with the people you love can really make an already fun experience even more fun. There were two openers for The Weeknd, Mike Dean and Playboi Cari. I am not going to lie, we missed Mike Dean’s performance waiting in line for merch, but luckily we were able to hear his performance while we were in love. It was really good, the music was loud and I could feel the vibration in my body, which personally I love. We got to our seats right on time for Playboi Carti’s performance which was also really good. At this point we were able to see the stage and it was really cool how the stage was laid out.

When The Weeknd walked out in the mask and cloak and started singing, I got literal chills and goosebumps. He sounds AMAZING live, and he has such a great stage presence, when he took off the mask everyone (including us) were screaming and cheering. One thing I liked was how he used the big screen behind the main part of the stage for visuals throughout the performance. There is also the iconic statue in the middle section of the stage; it began spinning too later on in the performance. The lights surrounding the stage went from red, to blue, to yellow, to green, back to red. There was even a time where the stage was both red and blue which I thought was really cool.

The night ended with fireworks during his last few songs and flames as well, with laser lights throughout. After the last song was performed he left the stage but of course there is usually going to be an encore, so we waited hoping there was one. And there was! He came back out and performed two or three songs and they were so good and it was a vibe. But alas, the night was coming to an end, and it hit me that the concert was over when he left the stage a second time and the main lights turned on. The main big lights turning on was like a slap of reality that the concert was over. This concert was the best one I have been to, the stage and visuals were really cool and the music was just even better live. Overall, I would rate this concert 100/10 and I would go over and over again but I would go more broke.
